About SilentLink · Wuppertal · since 2021
The world is full of honest people. We make it easy for them.
One sentence is our entire business plan. This page tells how it came about — and what we built to make it work: scannable IDs that let strangers reach you without ever seeing your number.

Chapter 1 · The question
Why would a stranger need your number?
Every day, somewhere, a stranger notices something that really only concerns one person: the owner. A car that's been bumped, a keyring left behind, a suitcase nobody can place. Almost always that stranger wants to let you know — and can't, because the channel is missing. The only way out everyday life offers would be writing your own mobile number on your property. And rightly, nobody does that.
That gap is where SilentLink begins — with the question behind everything we build: why do reachability and privacy have to be opposites? Our answer is an ID you scan. Whoever scans it reaches you in seconds — by message or a relayed call. Your number stays invisible throughout.
From this question, we built a company.
Chapter 2 · The school · 2021–2024
Software that must not fall over.
SilentLink wasn't the first thing we built — and that is exactly our strength. In 2021, in the second year of our IT apprenticeship, we founded a company and spent the years after learning everything no apprenticeship teaches. A big project broke early — over agreements nobody had written down. The lesson lives in every line of our code to this day: what matters gets written down — readable for everyone instead of living in two people's heads.
After that we spent years building for others: highly complex platforms for mid-sized businesses, up to ERP systems that entire operations depend on — if the software stops, the business stops. It's the hardest school a developer can go through.
We didn't know back then what we were training for. Today we do.
Chapter 3 · The system · since 2024
The best answers take shape in silence.
In 2024 the question won't stop working on us. We build the answer — under wraps for more than a year. No announcements, no noise — but one decision that shapes everything after: from day one, SilentLink is set up not as a product but as a platform. Think in years, and you build differently.
Into this quiet building phase falls a farewell, too: Henry Le, co-founder from the very first hour, helped shape SilentLink up to this point — and then decides for himself that founder life isn't the path he wants to keep walking. A decision that deserves respect, and a parting on good terms. Darrel carries the company forward — with the entire foundation from the years before.
In early 2025 we leave stealth mode — with the DriveID for the car. The first ID is activated, the first stranger scans, the first message arrives: the moment around three years of work had been leading to. Mid-year, Abdou Seye joins as a partner and brings what software alone can't deliver: sales, reach, a feel for people. By year's end, the first brands are running on our platform.
A contact point for the car becomes a system for everything that matters to you.
Chapter 4 · What we believe
Your ID will do more next year than today.
Most of our work is invisible. We don't believe good products are made in marketing — they're made earlier, in research and development, where nobody is watching. That's why most of our time and money doesn't go into advertising, but into the platform behind the IDs: the relay, the channels, the dashboard — and the details you only notice the day it matters.
That has an effect you wouldn't expect from a product costing €24.99: because every ID runs on the same platform, every improvement automatically reaches the IDs sold long ago, too. Your DriveID can do more today than on the day you bought it — and more next year than today, without you doing a thing.
An ID is never finished here. It's simply the latest state of our development.
What we believe · Service
Sales come and go. Service stays.
"Sales go up and down. Service stays forever." — an old sales classic, set in our own design language. Sales figures swing with season, occasion and ad budget. What stays is the experience people have with us.
That's why your mail is answered by a founder, not a queue; we sort out complaints instead of debating them — and we take the question after the purchase as seriously as the one before it. An ID is bought in two minutes. Whether it's looked after well shows over years.
Sales are a number in a monthly report. Service is what people remember.

From us to you.
Wuppertal, in SilentLink's fifth year
If you've read this far, you don't want to know what we sell — that's on the product pages. You want to know who's behind it. So, without detours:
We're two founders from Wuppertal — one owns product and platform, one sales and growth — and by now a team of five. Our ambition is unspectacular and serious precisely because of it: products you buy once, that work when it matters, and that can do more with every update. We build the company with the same care — line by line, decision by decision.
SilentLink is not a stopover for us. It is the plan. If you spot something we could do better: write to us at [email protected]. Your mail is read by the two people whose names are below.
