Do we have to integrate software?
No. You only add the code or NFC tag to the product. We run activation, routing and support, so no software is created on your side that needs maintaining.
QR code or NFC: which fits better?
The QR code is ready to go immediately and needs no hardware, because it runs along with your existing printing. NFC feels more premium and can be built in invisibly, and we deliver the NFC tags ready-encoded from €0.30 per unit. We work out what suits your product using a sample.
Does this disrupt our production?
No. The code runs on your existing print or labelling line, and NFC tags arrive ready to install. No new tooling and no changes to the line are needed.
Why not just include a Bluetooth tracker?
A tracker locates the item for the owner but doesn't enable the finder to act. On top of that come unit costs in the double-digit euro range, battery changes and being tied to one platform. A QR code or NFC tag costs cents, works with any phone and needs neither a battery nor an app. The two are not mutually exclusive.
How does a pilot work?
You start with a batch of 100 units or more and pay per unit, with no monthly fee. Beforehand, you receive a sample in your branding. The pilot shows how the function fits into production, packaging and sales, and then you decide on series production.
Who owns the customer data?
Your customers' contact details are stored in compliance with the GDPR on servers in Germany and the EU. They are used solely for routing and are not passed on to third parties. The details are set out in the data processing agreement within the master agreement.
Who answers our end customers' questions?
Our support team, for anything to do with the function. Your customers activate it themselves in two minutes, and your team doesn't need to set anything up for it.
