How does the code get onto the bike?
As a print, engraving or durable label on the frame, or as an NFC tag integrated into the frame. In the intro call, we recommend which approach suits which model.
Does this replace GPS tracking against theft?
No, it complements it. GPS actively locates the bike and costs accordingly. The contact function works through the honest finder, for mix-ups, found bikes and rental returns, and costs cents.
Is this a selling point?
“Factory-fitted lost & found” is a tangible feature on the spec sheet and in the listing. Your customers don't have to install an app, charge a battery or take out a subscription for it.
How does a pilot work?
You start with a batch of 100 units or more, such as one model, and pay per unit, with no monthly fee. The pilot shows how the function fits into production, packaging and sales. Then you decide on series production.
