ServiceID · Vending machines

The broken vending machine that reports itself.

Every day a machine stands idle or empty costs revenue, and the operator is often the last to find out. With a report point on the machine, anyone standing in front of it reports a defect or missing stock in seconds, with machine and location, straight to your service team.

The silent machine

By the time the route finds the fault, days have passed.

A machine on someone else's premises has nobody speaking up for it. The staff on site are not your staff, and customers simply walk on. By the time the fault is noticed on the next route visit, days without revenue have passed, and the site partner takes a closer look at the next contract renewal.

With a report point on the machine, every user becomes a reporter. Defects, faults or empty stock reach your service team immediately, clearly assigned to the machine and site.

  • Every report with machine, site and an optional photo
  • Restocking to the route, defects to the technician
  • Reporting on which machines report most often

Report topics

Six topics that cost revenue.

You define the topics per machine type. The coffee machine reports different things than the snack machine.

  • 01 Technical

    Machine fault

Display error, jammed dispenser, payment not working: the technician arrives prepared instead of guessing.

  • 02 Stock

    Empty or running low

Beans, cups, products or change get reported before the machine stops working altogether.

  • 03 Payment

    Payment terminal

A fault in card payment shows up immediately, before days of revenue are lost.

  • 04 Quality

    Complaint

Wrong product or cleaning needed: the feedback reaches you instead of becoming a complaint to the site partner.

  • 05 Damage

    Physical damage

Damage and vandalism arrive with photo and timestamp, documented for insurance and for talks with the site.

  • 06 Site

    Feedback from the site

The site partner reports requests or problems directly and traceably.

Questions & answers

Fault reporting for vending machines.

Does a user need an app to report a vending machine?

No. The ordinary phone camera is enough, and the scan opens a web page with your topics. That is why passing customers and site staff report too, people who would never install an app.

How does the service team know which machine it's about?

Every report point is permanently assigned to a machine and a site. The report arrives as “Coffee machine A-14, Sample Hall, dispenser jammed, photo attached”.

Can we handle restocking and defects separately?

Yes. You define topics and recipients per machine type, so restocking goes to the route and a defect goes to technical service.

Is it worth it with only a few machines?

A report point costs from €0.50 per month. A single day of downtime avoided on a busy machine earns more than the report point costs in a whole year. Start with one site and expand once the reports show the benefit.

What about nonsense reports?

Reports use your topics instead of free text, and every report is assigned to a machine. If a report point attracts misuse, it can be blocked and replaced.
